I am pleased to have been appointed to the post of Minister for Economic Development by the States of Jersey on Friday 7th November 2014 – thank you to all who have placed their confidence in me.
The new Economic Development Department will bring together responsibility for tourism, retail, sport, culture, gambling and the lottery, air and sea links, farming, business development and inward investment, in order to attract new visitors and businesses, and to encourage more participation in our economy and our community.
I am very much looking forward to the challenge.
