– I was hoping for a quiet week but it did not work out like that … various minor issues dealt with but the two key points this week were my first (official) meeting with the Police Chief and the Deputy Police Chief which was very useful and informative, and, on Wednesday the Jersey Hospitality Association winter forum was held at the Grand hotel with very supportive contributions from Senator Alan Maclean and Senator Philip Ozouf confirming solid States suport for the Tourism Industry in the years ahead. Wishing you all a very peaceful Christmas and a happy and healthy 2012.
