The Population Office has published figures for the number of applications for registered and licensed permissions, and how many were granted or refused between October to December 2017.
The main factors taken in to account when deciding whether to grant registered and licensed permissions to a business are:
- preserving and maximising the benefits of Jersey’s resources
- promoting a balanced and prosperous economy
- protecting the integrity and reputation of Jersey in commercial and financial
- relevant policies of the States of Jersey and the public interest
